A faithful Toronto native, Sarah grew up in East York where she developed an enthusiasm for community activities. A passionate swimmer, curler, and t-baller, Sarah found her place in the world in small community activities.
After completing her Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University in 2002, Sarah pursued an engaging career in marketing and supply chain management. She first moved to North York in 2007 where she started her family amidst the North York’s urban hustle. While her work life was satisfying, she sought creative ways to spend meaningful time with her family and slow life down a little. Carving out a place for her family to learn together in the big city was difficult – Sarah found she really needed a village to help support her growing family and enjoyed organizing local activities where she could meet other families.
Sarah is passionate about finding ways to spend quality family time despite a busy work schedule. She continues to enjoy the finer things in life – hanging out in the backyard, walking through Earl Bales Park, getting take-out from Mezza Notte, and cottaging on Georgian Bay.
